Minutes of Meeting – September 6, 2012

attendance.
MOTION by Bill D., seconded by Marcel J. to accept the minutes of the minutes of the meeting of August 9, 2012.

Treasurer’s Report
- Jean Marc reported a current bank balance of $XXXX.
MOTION by Bob F., seconded by Bernie N. that we contribute $50.00 to offset the costs incurred by Gary F. for fuel for his tractor and transportation costs in relation to having his tractor available to assist the work project at Bronx Park during August.

Business
· Ken A. mentioned that 567 members provided a work crew to assist Bronx Park with the seeding and spreading top soil for the two mini soccer areas on Tuesday, August 21, 2012.
· Bob F. indicated that Tim S., Bernie N., Marcel J., Bill D., Ray M., Bob F. and Ken A., all contributed time and energy to completing the assignment in a timely fashion. As well, Brian F. (Bob’s son) contributed some time, and after the work was completed, Bronx Park allowed anyone of the 7 able to attend that afternoon to have supper at Gondola Pizza.
· Ray M. reported on the Stonewall’s Quarry Day Run, and indicated that 195 cars were registered, with dash plaques available to all of those in attendance.
· Bob F. reported on the run to South Beach on August 19, 2012, with approximately 400 cars in attendace.
· The MS Cruise with A& W on August 23 took place with Marcel J., Gary J. and Darryl having their cars available, and Jim and Janice joining the group later on.
MOTION by Bernie N., seconded by Gary F. that the account with Modern Earth be paid (estimated at $42.00). Bob F. to confirm the figure with Jean Marc.

Business
· Cruise Night at Tavern United on Regent is September 16, 2012, being hosted by 567 Club. 567 members should meet at Tim Hortons on Regent (adjacent to the Regent Casino) and be ready to leave at 5:45 p.m.
· The Cruise Night to Pony Corral at Grant Avenue is set for September 23, 2012, and 567 members should be at Pony Corral by 5:00.
· Darryl J. reported that Gauthier is selling 23 of his collector cars through the Barret Jackson Auction Program.
· Fabulous 50’s Car Show is the weekend of September 7, 8 and 9, with the main Show N Shine at Garden City Shopping Centre on September 9, 2012. 567 members should meet at Canadian Tire at 9:30 a.m., and travel in a group to the show.
· The annual Toy Run is on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Canada Revenue Agency, and 567 members should meet at Tim Hortons (adjacent to Sears) at 9:30 a.m.
· Hot Rod and Hogs on September 15, 2012 at Harley Davidson.
· Marcel J. pointed out that Darryl J. won the best of the show at Morden’s Corn and Apple Show N Shine.
Next meeting to be held on Thursday, October 4, 2012, at 7:30 p.m. at Bronx Park Community Club at 720 Henderson Highway. Bob F. will not be in attendance, and Marcel J. has volunteered to take the minutes for this meeting.
