Meeting – January 12, 2012
Meeting held at
Bronx Park Community Centre with 13 members in attendance.

minutes of the meeting of November 3, 2011.

Treasurer’s
Report
·
Jean Marc
reported the current balance to be $XXXX after spending $147.00 to
complete website expenses.
MAAC Report
·
Ray M.
reported that no meeting was held for MAAC in December.
·
MAAC dues
will be requested shortly.
·
MAAC has
several positions available.
·
Ray M.
reported that there were some challenges facing MAAC, and at least
one larger car club deciding to withdraw from MAAC.
·
Ray M. is
not available for the meeting on January 25, and if someone wants to
attend, Ray M. will let that person know the location.
Old Business
·
The
Christmas dinner on December 3 at Nor Villa Hotel was a success,
with 31 people in attendance.
·
Membership
dues can be paid at this time, and members should see Jean Marc.
·
Gary F.
reported on the progress made with the website, and our ability to
connect to the 567 website through Google.
New Business
·
Thorough
discussion occurred about advantages of staying in MAAC.
·
Mention was
made of Don Cook’s demise just before Christmas.
·
Gary F.
mentioned the prospect of seeing if 567 can be mentioned on
Autoclubs.com.
·
A & W
coupons are available.
·
The bowling
event has been confirmed for Saturday, February 11, 2012, with
further details to be presented at the meeting on February 2, 2012.
·
Bob F.
mentioned a St. Patrick’s Day even on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at
Bronx, with details to be announced at the next meeting.
