Minutes of Meeting – August 9, 2012
Meeting held at Bronx Park Community Centre with 17 members in
attendance.

Treasurer’s Report
- Jean Marc reported that we had a balance of $XXXX prior to the meeting.
- Jean Marc also reported that a payment of $42.74 was made to Bob F. for the silent auction donation to the earlier fundraising social.
MAAC Report
- Ray M. mentioned that there was no meeting for MAAC in July.
- MAAC reported that the Classic Car Appreciation Day was successful.
- MAAC has reported that the collection plates may be approved, and further information to follow.
Old
Business
· Bob F. indicated the plan for the work party at Bronx Park, and has scheduled the work party for 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 21, 2012, with a separate reminder to be sent out by email.
· The event at Dakota House on July 19, 2012 was well attended, and all 567 members received wings and drinks.
· Four 567 members attended the MAAC Appreciation Day.
· Bill and Gary joined MSRA 40th run to Powerview (27 cars in attendance).
· 90 car attended the show at Deacon’s Corner on Wednesday, July 18, 2012.
New
Business
· Ray reported that Stonewall’s Quarry Day is featuring a Show and Shine on Sunday, August 19, 2012 with registration beginning at 9:00 a.m. with the show from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (registration $10.00);
· 567 Club is booked for Tavern United on September 16, 2012, and we should be arriving around 6:00 p.m. Further details to be arranged at next meeting.
· Details confirmed for 567 to host Cruise Night at Pony Corral on September 23, 2012, with 567 members to arrive at 5:00 p.m. Further details to be arranged at next meeting.
· Bob F. will check into the questions regarding hosting the website through Modern Earth, and hopefully to report back to the group at the next meeting.
· The group discussed plans for 2013, and one of the suggestions was to consider having Cruise Nights on our meeting nights throughout the summer months for 2013, likely with an earlier meeting time at Bronx and a cruise thereafter.
· Members are reminded that there is a Show and Shine at South Beach Casino on Sunday, August 19, 2012, and details are available on radio and newspaper.

- Special thanks to Marcel and Lil for the donation of fresh Manitoba cucumbers (eat your veggies everyone).
